Through it acquisition of Grampian Test & Certification, Cosalt has been involved with Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 (LOLER 98) and the Regulatory Bodies from the strategy development stage. This means we can provide our clients with unrivalled assistance with regard to all aspects of LOLER. We are also full members of Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA).  

Currently we provide Independent Competent Person (ICP) Services to several major clients. Cosalt's valuable ICP service allows us to take full responsibility for all lifting related matters from LOLER requirements to the development of written schemes, lifting plans and risk assessments. As a result our specialist Aberdeen operation has been invited to give a paper on this at the International Cranes Conference in Stavanger for the last three years because of our expertise on the subject of lifting operations, lifting equipment and managing risk.
