You can carry either an MED approved inherently buoyant lifejacket c/w light or the CE approved inflatable lifejacket c/w light - remember if you carry the inflatable lifejackets you will have to carry an additional 10% or 2 whichever is greater to cover for the number of persons on board the vessel

This liferaft should be serviced every 3 years as it is vacuum packed

Can I use the 2.5kg Perrybuoy on the bridge wing with the manoverboard smoke and light unit
No you can only use the 4kg Perrybuoy for this purpose as the 2.5kg Perrybuoy will not be heavy enough to pull the manoverboard out of it's bracket

Do you have liferaft service stations in both the UK and Europe?
Cosalt has nine authorised liferaft service stations in the UK and eight in Continental Europe

Can you service fire equipment on board the vessel whilst we are in port?
Our fire engineers can service the fire equipment on board your vessel whilst you are in port. If any fire extinguisher or CO2 cylinder requires pressure testing this will have to be done ashore.

Can you dispose of my out of date pyrotechnics?
Yes we can dispose of your out of date pyrotechnics. There will be a charge levied for this service as the manufacturer now charges us to dispose of out of date pyrotechnics.

Can one of your rope experts visit my vessel/platform to inspect and suggest a solution to our problem?
Yes one of rope experts can visit to advise, inspect and find the best solution within the market place for all your rope and rigging requirements.

Can you supply PPE, workwear and safety garments which meets industry standards for my company?
Yes. We have a full range of workwear which is fully CE approved meeting the necessary industry standards.

Do you supply flame retardant workwear?
Our Magma Range offers flame retardant foul weather coat, trouser, salopette, drivers jacket and work jacket. We also offer a full range of base camp products including FR short sleeve vest, shorts, long sleeved vest and leggings all approved to the latest EN standards.

Can you provide a management service for our Company's workwear requirements?

Yes if you make contact with your local branch they can make the necessary arrangements for this.
