D Ross ACA*†
David joined the Board on 12 April 2005 and was appointed Chairman in October 2009. A Chartered Accountant, he was Chief Operating Officer of Carphone Warehouse between 1990 and July 2003 with responsibility for its activities in mainland Europe.
In 2006 he was appointed a Trustee of the National Portrait Gallery and is the main sponsor for Havelock Academy in Grimsby.
Chief Executive
Trevor Sands
Trevor Sands joined the Board as Chief Executive on 27th October 2011. Trevor comes with a strong financial background and broad general management experience gained with a variety of international companies. A Chartered Accountant, Trevor joins from the global engineering multinational Emerson Electric Inc. Trevor worked in a range of senior management roles internationally during his 13 years at Emerson and, latterly, was President of the Daniel Measurement and Controls Division, provider of products and services to the oil and gas sector. Prior to joining Emerson, Trevor was Corporate Controller at Invensys Plc and previously at Unitech plc, as Group Financial Controller, and Arthur Andersen.
Chief Financial Officer
Dolores Douglas (not a Director)
Dolores Douglas joined the Company in August 2011 and brings extensive senior management experience to the Group. Dolores is a Chartered Accountant and was previously Finance Director of Big Thoughts Ltd, an award-winning food and drink manufacturer. Her experience includes providing consultancy services to a range of companies as well as spending 10 years in Corporate Finance with Ernst & Young. She also has significant experience in litigation support and has worked on a number of fraud and valuation cases for international companies. Dolores will not initially join the Board of Cosalt.
