New Metabo Angle Grinders from Cosalt

The exciting new range of Metabo Mini Angle Grinders is now available from Cosalt, Metabo's main distributor in Scotland.  The products use the latest vibration reduction auto-balancing technology to deliver the lowest level of vibration on the market.

Measurements taken in accordance with EN60745 show a product vibration level of just 3.6m/s2. This is well below the exposure limit to hand-arm vibration of 5 m/s2 set out in EU directive 2002/44/EC.

Under normal working conditions the new Metabo Mini Angle Grinders can be used for the majority of the working day resulting in less downtime and higher worker productivity. Metabo's advanced technology system also helps to increase accessory life and improve surface finish.

Key features on the tools include higher-powered marathon motors, increased motor protection and increased fan flow rates giving better cooling and longer service life. The ergonomics have been improved and the design also features a mechanical safety clutch

Vibration dampening side handles are fitted as standard. The innovative autobalancer is integrated on the angle grinder spindle, where it replaces the support flange. The ball bearings in the autobalancer work to counterbalance the grinding wheel and significantly reduce vibrations.  The grinders take a wheel diameter of up to 150mm and carry a three-year manufacturers warranty.
