Cosalt announces new wire rope partnership with Bridon International

Cosalt, a leading provider of critical safety equipment and services for the Offshore Oil & Gas and Marine industries, has signed a partnership agreement with Bridon International Ltd, a specialist wire rope manufacturer, to develop and expand their existing Aberdeen-based wire rope business servicing the UK North Sea Offshore Sector.
The new partnership, which will commence on 8 June 2009, will see the amalgamation of Bridon and Cosalt's distribution facilities in Aberdeen and will result in a market-leading service and distribution centre able to provide a world class range of wire rope products and associated services.
Both companies have enjoyed long-established and market-leading positions in the UK Oil & Gas market and this new partnership is as a natural progression that will significantly strengthen the presence of both companies in region.
