Accreditations

Cosalt International Ltd holds a Corporate Approval for the Quality Management System Standards: ISO9001:2008 which has been approved by Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance. 

Cosalt International Ltd and our manufacturing arm, Crewsaver, holds MED approval for a number of products including Inflatable Lifejackets, Cosalt Premier/Premier 2010, Immersion Suits and the Perrybuoy. All Crewsaver Lifejackets, Buoyancy Aids, Safety Harnesses and Lines are fully approved and CE marked.

Cosalt's International Projects Department in Birkenhead are full members of FPAL (First Point Assessment Limited).  Cosalt Birkenhead, Glasgow, Grimsby and Plymouth are full members of LEEA (Lifting Equipment Engineers Association).

Cosalt's Workwear division was one of the first companies within the protective clothing industry to attain ISO9001:2008 Quality Management System accreditation. All Cosalt protective garments are CE marked and have been specifically designed and tested to the highest European standards from EN471:2003 for high visibility through to BS 7974-10:2004 for protective clothing and equipment for use in violent situations.

Cosalt's Offshore division comprises of Cosalt Aberdeen, Cosalt Lowestoft and Cosalt Offshore Norge AS.  Cosalt Aberdeen (formerly GTC Group) have a QHSE management system in place and are registered with BVQI and are BS EN ISO9001:2000 approved.  Cosalt Aberdeen (as GTC Group) are a member of the British Safety Council and since 2001 have participated in their five star health and safety management system award scheme achieving the maximum five star rating since 2001.  Full members of FPAL (First Point Assessment Limited), Cosalt Aberdeen are also full members of LEEA (Lifting Equipment Engineers Association).  They are also a full member of Achilles JQS (Joint Qualification System) for suppliers to the Oil Industry. 

Cosalt Offshore Norge AS has a DNV approved management system in place conforming to Quality System Standard NS-EN ISO 9001:2000.  They have Achilles approval together with numerous major company approvals including Hydro, BP, Shell, ConcoPhillips, TotalFinaElf, Esso and many more and are classed as an official certified competent enterprise.
